Start Codon CEO Jason Mellad has been welcomed to the board of trustees for Cambridge Science Centre

Cambridge Science Centre welcomed 'three exceptional individuals' to its board of trustees - Douglass Cuff, Bruno Cotta, and Start Codon's Jason Mellad.

Jason and his fellow new board members were selected for their 'deep and diverse skill sets, and for their passion for and commitment to advancing STEM engagement and inspiring innovation among young people.

Board Chair, Dr David Cleevely said: "We warmly welcome Douglass, Jason and Bruno to our board. Their exceptional skills, strategic thinking, and wealth of expertise perfectly align with our ambitious strategy to break down barriers in STEM education."

Jason said: "It's an honour to join the board of trustees for an organisation I care so passionately about. Increasing diversity and inclusion in STEM-related industries starts by building excitement from a young age and helping all young people see that STEM subjects are for everyone. I'm looking forward to helping support this brilliant organisation in their mission 'to get all young people to be more passionate, questioning, imaginative and inquisitive than ever before'."
